Serving Aubrey, TX and it’s surrounding areas
Our mission is to nurture and encourage the whole child while guiding them toward their fullest potential. We do this by inspiring a love of learning, creativity, and problem-solving.
We’re deeply committed to fostering independence and confidence within our students.
We don’t practice a “one class fits all” approach to education. Instead, we build your child’s education around them and bring their desire to learn to life.
The greatest gifts we can give our children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence.
– Dr. Maria Montessori
Our early childhood programs provide a rich opportunity to learn and experience freedom. Our students do this within our welcoming, prepared environment. What your child learns at our school sets them up them for easier, more successful learning throughout their lives.
Our innovative programs are offered year-round and provide the flexibility of either a half-day, school-day or a full-day programs. They include early drop-offs at 7:00 AM and extended aftercare until 6:00 PM.
ages 18 months to 3 years
This program taps into the toddler’s natural desire for independence. We recognize that children at this age learn by doing. Activities in this classroom engage all five senses and include age-appropriate lifestyle skills.
ages 3 to 6 years
Children will continue growing within the five key areas of a Montessori classroom. They move from simple concepts to more complex ones. They practice longer, uninterrupted work cycles and develop greater focus, confidence, and self-reliance.
We believe children are born to learn and are remarkable at educating themselves.
Because of this, you won’t see our teachers giving the same lesson to the entire classroom. Instead, our Montessori-certified teachers observe every child. They then design a personalized lesson plan based on the child’s needs and abilities. The child then works on those activities at their own pace.
A Montessori education prepares your young child for more than just academics. The Montessori philosophy works with the natural development of the child. We help nurture them intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically.
In addition to our robust academic curriculum, we also go above and beyond to integrate nature and hands-on learning. Students enjoy visiting our library, gym, splash pad, Toddler playground, and Primary playground. We integrate music and songs into our lessons. We also highly encourage peer learning and caring for one another.
Our classrooms are uniquely designed to create independence and stimulate curiosity. Students can work on their lessons at our child-sized tables and chairs. Or if they prefer, they can also work on the floor with their work spread out in front of them.
Each class is stocked with didactic materials to maximize their multi-sensory learning. This includes tools made from natural materials, books, puzzles, toys, and playsets. We have advanced materials available to accommodate a variety of learning levels.
A Montessori education can be viewed as a triangle that connects the child, the teacher, and the environment:
The child is their own greatest teacher. They’re born with a driving force that leads them to where they need to develop at that time.
Our teachers aren’t traditional instructors. They’re the guides. They set up and maintain the classroom environment. They carefully observe each child daily to identify their needs. Our teachers then guide the child to appropriate activities and then step back so the child can practice on their own.
We believe children learn best in a well-prepared environment. Our teachers organize their classrooms in a way that nurtures the child’s independence. Classroom are orderly, child-sized, and calm. Classrooms are also stocked with activities designed to challenge the child’s mind and engage them physically.
A well-rounded, innovative education that cultivates your young child’s greatest potential.
