The Transition program is designed to help your child improve coordination and gain greater independence. We expand upon what they learned from the Toddler classroom by introducing a bit more routine and structure to their days.

Each child learns at their own pace, and we are here to guide them toward their greatest potential. Our Montessori-certified teachers observe your child daily and develop customized lessons for them. Students in our Transition program will:

• Start learning basic concepts in the areas of Sensorial, Practical Life, Language, Cultural Studies, and Math.
• Master personal care and toilet training so they can use the restroom on their own.
• Practice rolling rugs, pouring, scooping, and sorting. This helps lay a solid foundation for future lessons in language, math, and writing.
• Learn new vocabulary and practice language skills.
• Practice communication and social skills with their peers.
• Explore their creativity through music, art, gardening, and dance.
