The Transition program is the in-between of our Toddler and Primary classrooms. It’s designed to help set our toddlers up for success as they move into the Primary program. It’s also an excellent environment to welcome children who are new to the Montessori approach and to help them prepare for the Primary Program.
The Transition program is designed to help your child improve coordination and gain greater independence. We expand upon what they learned from the Toddler classroom by introducing a bit more routine and structure to their days.
Each child learns at their own pace, and we are here to guide them toward their greatest potential. Our Montessori-certified teachers observe your child daily and develop customized lessons for them. Students in our Transition program will:
At this age, students are very much learning by doing. Our innovative and natural process promotes sensorial learning by engaging their five senses.
The environment in the Transition classrooms encourages new experiences and familiar routines. We also bring in music and movement to help with body awareness and coordination. They learn in the company of their peers. This helps them experience a sense of order that’s grounded within a social environment.
Most importantly, our students develop a love of learning that will go with them throughout their lives.
